The School:
King’s College International School Bangkok is a King’s College School Wimbledon International School which opened in 2020 for boys and girls and now cater for over 1,300 students aged 2-17 in Early Years to Year 12, offering IGCSEs, A levels and pathways to the world’s best universities. We will open Year 13 in August 2024, and next year we will grow to over 1,500 students.
We work closely with King’s Wimbledon to provide a well-structured education that aims to instil a love of learning, creativity and independence in our students. The position:
The school wishes to appoint a well-qualified Director of Sport to take on the leadership of sport throughout the school. This is a key middle leadership post line managing the head of PE and head of swim as well as representing the school externally across the sporting scene. This person will decide on the strategic direction of the school’s sport and will take overall leadership for ensuring that our students are engaged, inspired and extended in sport, regardless of the level they are currently working at. We wish that every student is encouraged to enjoy sport as part of a healthy lifestyle, whilst providing opportunities for the best sportspeople to excel.
You will enjoy having access to some amazing facilities at your disposal including a Fifa-standard football pitch, an air-conditioned sports’ hall with mezzanine running track and climbing wall, gymnastics room, fitness suite, as well as covered courts, tennis courts and Early Years facilities for physical development.
