HIEDA Manager: Jess McArdle

Jess joined BSA Group in April 2022 as a Business Support Executive, bringing with her a wealth of experience from diverse industries. With a strong background in the entertainment sector, Jess spent nine years working in various roles across cruise lines, holiday parks, and television. This period honed her skills in customer service, project management, and creative problem-solving, making her adept at navigating fast-paced environments.

In addition to her entertainment industry experience, Jess also spent time as an Administrator for a golf signage company, where she developed a keen eye for detail and further refined her administrative and organizational abilities. At BSA Group, Jess leverages her extensive experience to provide high-level support, streamline processes, and contribute to the company’s continued success. Her dynamic background and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to the team.

Executive Director, Specialist Services, BSA Group and Director, BAISIS: Bethan Hudson

Beth is responsible for the CPD programme at Hieda. With a background in both the charity, education and membership sectors in the UK and overseas, she is passionate about ensuring that health and wellbeing is a priority topic in all businesses.

Business Support Manager: Claire Scrimgeour

Claire is the Business Support Manager at BSA Group. Claire joined the group in 2021 and has extensive financial and administrative experience making her well-placed to support core business functions and projects across the group.

Communications and Engagement Manager: Lottie Andrews

Lottie joined the BSA Group in February 2022. She is Communications and Engagement Manager for BSA Group. Having worked in busy marketing offices within both the state boarding and independent school sectors for over eight years, Lottie brings excellent communications experience to the role and produces  communications across the group to support members and promote events/services.

Business Support Executive: Sophie Duval

Joining BSA in August 2024, Sophie comes from a background in education, spending ten years as a primary teacher both in the UK and in New Zealand. In her previous role at an international boarding college, Sophie was in charge of admissions and compliance where she thoroughly enjoyed liaising with families, both within the UK and abroad, to support them with visa queries and settling in to the college. Sophie has also spent time in administrative roles such as a personal assistant, exams officer and receptionist; giving her a wealth of experience to bring to her role as Business Support Executive at BSA.

 

Senior Finance and Administration Executive: Emily Smith 

Emily joined the BSA Group in March 2023 as Finance and Administration Executive. Emily has a background in finance, administration and early years education, making her well placed to support our members.

Senior Nurse Advisor: Skyler Moulder

Skyler is an experienced community school nurse with training in CAMHS foundation module, Sexual Health and Contraception module and Safeguarding Children Level 3. She has an MSc in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing and qualified as a Nurse Prescriber. In 2019 she became a Team Manager for the CCS Healthy Child Programme, managing a team of Nursery Nurses, Health Visitors and School Nurses during the pandemic. In 2020 she became Lead Nurse at The Leys in Cambridge which is where her passion for independent school nursing started.

She is a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and a Mental Health First Aider.

Skyler supports HIEDA members as a Senior Nurse Advisor.

Senior Nurse Advisor: Louise Howel

Louise is a paediatric nurse and worked as a Health Visitor for 10 years before moving to independent school nursing, working in boarding and day schools for 10 years. She has six years’ experience as Health Centre Manager most recently at Wycliffe College.

Louise has been working as a Nurse advisor for HIEDA since September 2023 involving giving advice, training and consultancy support. Alongside this, Louise is also a lecturer in Health and Social care within further education.

Louise supports HIEDA members as a Senior Nurse Advisor.
