Tanya Ednan-Laperouse, whose daughter Natasha sadly passed away after an allergic reaction to a Pret a Manger sandwich, has launched the Allergy School programme to help educate teachers and school staff about food allergies. She pointed out the challenges of keeping children with allergies safe at school and noted that Natasha had experienced bullying because of her condition. The initiative has gained the backing of King Charles, who stressed the need to protect children with allergies.
